Mists Rifts are portals from Nayos through which the Kryptis are making incursions into Tyria. They can be found all over the world and closing them is the main focus of Rift Hunting.

Activating this rift using the Heart of the Obscure will begin a specific event. After completing these events, the rift can then be destroyed using the Heart.
