“My understanding is you're something of a "protector of the realm"; doing whatever's necessary to keep your people safe. Well, it is my duty to keep the people of Cantha safe.
The Minister of Security is the head of the Ministry of Security in Cantha whose duty is to keep Cantha safe. The title was created for Minister Jimin to succeed the Minister of Flame Zal after Emperor Bitgaram had had the latter arrested for corruption in the first sweep of Canthan governmental reforms in 1730 CC (1220 AE).[1]
| Following the arrest of Minister Li Ha-Eung after he revealed himself to be one of the leaders of the Purists plotting against Empress Ihn in 1845 CC (1335 AE), Precinct Captain Cho Min was appointed as the Acting Minister of Security until Li's proper successor would be named.[2] |
