I used to come here as a child with my family to visit the battle pit. Never thought I'd be stationed here.

Why not?

Well, when I was younger, there used to be festivals here. Apparently it was originally an outpost guarding the road, but for a long time it was more of a makeshift fairgrounds.

But now it's an outpost again?

Thanks to the centaurs, yes. Most of the beautiful places from my childhood have been ruined because of them. And things are getting so bad, there's not much to celebrate anymore.
