Overview[edit]
The MLG Guild Wars 2 Invitational is a single-elimination tournament organized by Major League Gaming held on the North American Region with teams from the European Region participating. The tournament is set to occur on Friday, September 27th, 2013 and is to be hosted by Shawn Buell and Sireph.
Format[edit]
The tournament features 8 teams from both the North American Region as well as the European Region. The eight teams will partake in a single-elimination style bracket with each match being a best of three and the finals being set to a Bo5 (Best of 5).
First place of the tournament will receive $1000 USD and a set of Guild Wars 2 branded Steelseries peripherals for each player. Second place will receive $125 in gems.
