List of chests in Auric Basin

This article aims to list the locations of all of the chests found throughout Auric Basin.

#	Area	Description	Map
1	Tarnished Treetop	From the waypoint, head across to the Capitzel Grounds, the chest is in a hut to the south.
2	Arrowhead Vale	Glide southeast from the Wanderer's Waypoint, the chest is inside the tent in the center of the Quetzal camp.
3	Arrowhead Vale	From the Northwatch Waypoint, head west and slightly south. There is a set of mushroom steps leading up the trunk of a tree (above the "e" in Arrowhead on the world map). The chest is at the top of the second flight of steps.
4	Burnisher Quarry	After reaching Burnisher Quarry, either by ley-line gliding or via the Nuhoch Wallows south of Wanderer's Waypoint, follow the circuitous path towards the hero challenge but instead of gliding across to the north, drop down to the chest located at the top of the waterfall. (Alternatively visit the waterfall after the vista/hero challenge).
5	Maguuma Shallows	Head east from Northwatch Waypoint, and climb up the mushroom steps. Instead of heading left to the Quetzal, head right and use the ley-line to glide over to a ledge. Four hostile Itzel can be found in the cave beyond, two patrol and the other watches the sleeping flopper. (If you avoid attacking the flopper it can be ignored entirely). The chest is to the right of the campfire. It is possible to reach this chest without ley-line gliding, however you will first have to take the Nuhoch Wallows to Burnisher Quarry, and then use Updraft mastery to reach the ledge, which takes much longer.
6	Maguuma Shallows	Head east from the Northwatch Waypoint, and then climb the mushroom steps over to the waterfall. A second flight of steps leads to two Veteran Quetzal guarding a chest.
7	Maguuma Shallows	Head east from Northwatch Waypoint, and follow the path along the side of the hill. There is a small cave nestled within the roots on your left, with 3 Itzel Shadowleapers guarding a chest.
8	Bristleback Cavern	This chest is found above the Quetzal hero challenge. Climb the steps in the tree to get there.
9	Eastwatch Bluff	On a ledge to the left of the waterfall. Head east from the waypoint and drop down to the chest.
10	Bristleback Chasm	Starting from the Eastwatch waypoint, head south up the vine.
11	Bristleback Chasm	Glide southwest from the eastwatch waypoint, the chest is on a branch looking towards the waterfall, with several Veteran Quetzal nearby
12	Mossheart Walk	Head north from the Chak Hollow Waypoint. Due south of the chest are some mushroom steps which you can use to climb up, and then you must jump across the ledges to the NPCs. The chest is to the right of the NPCs, overlooking Bristleback Chasm.
13	Mossheart Walk	Cross the bridge to the pylon that spawns after the completion of the event Gather meat from saurian nests to attract the wyvern away from the Mossheart pylon. The chest can be found to the behind the hostile mushrooms, under the "h" in "Mossheart Walk" on the world map. Alternatively, if the pylon has not been activated, you can glide from the top of the bouncing mushroom just to the north of the bridge.
14	Chak Hollow	Head west from the Chak Hollow waypoint. If you head up the ramp to the north of the point of interest, then you can glide to the chest without fighting any mordrem.
15	Morwood Wilds	From the Southwatch Waypoint, head south to the entrance to the Morwood Wilds. On the northern side of the first clearing, climb up a tree root followed by some mushroom steps to reach a ledge that leads to the chest next to two hostile sparkflies. Alternatively, in case the entrances to the Morwood Wilds are blocked by vines, this chest can be reached by using the updrafts above the Jawatl Grounds to climb to the highest point of the log. From here you can glide over the vine wall into the closed off area.
16	Morwood Wilds	Head south from Southwatch Waypoint into Morwood Wilds. Go west at the crossroads to the enclave south of the letter "M" in "Morwood Wilds" on the world map. The easternmost bouncing mushroom will propel you onto a ledge shared by two Mordrem Snipers. The chest is up the mushroom steps and across the trunk.
17	Griffonfall	This chest is found along the path of the A Fungus Among Us adventure, in the first large cavern at the bottom of the waterfall.
18	The Falls	At the Falls, head up the southernmost vines with the mushroom steps. The chest is right at the top.
19	Lastgear Standing	Climb up to the area with Quetzals which would normally lead to the golem hero challenge (if you were to glide across the leyline). The chest is north of the champion.
20	Lastgear Standing	Head to the golem hero challenge, and then complete the Lastgear Standing jumping puzzle. The chest is at the end.
21	Westwatch Patch	From the Westwatch Waypoint, take the path that leads to the cave where Auran the Golden Ooze appears. After the Ooze has appeared, a passageway appears at the back - the cave beyond contains a few elite trolls and a chest.
22	Westwatch Patch	In the golden ooze cave, take the left path of the two on the way into the cave, and circle your way around the topmost ledges.
23	Westwatch Patch	From the golden ooze cave, head east across the bridge and up the mushroom steps. The chest is in a small hollow beside Keem.
24	Tarir, the Forgotten City	At the end of the Sanctum Scramble adventure.	...
