Legendary Shoggroth is a putrid creature of bubbling, protoplasmic ichor and is the objective of a trial set by a jotun stargazer in the Ruined City of Arah.[1] It will not appear until each of the 4 oil geysers has a player standing on it.

- The Shoggroth does not regenerate health while out of combat, unlike most NPCs.

- Tar Spit - sends out projectiles that place a AoE, spawning a Tar Elemental, and applying Covered in Tar to any players that walk inside. Projectile blocking and reflecting skills can be used to prevent any Tar Elementals from spawning.
- Tar Spit (Burning) - if Legendary Shoggroth is burning, then Tar Spit instead place down fire fields that burn players on entry, but do not apply Covered in Tar or spawn a Tar Elemental.
