Dialogue[edit]

Upon event start
Tekki: One last modulation, and...There! It's fixed! Switching gate on—
Gatekeeper: Wait! These coordinates are wrong! This gate opens up right into griffon territory. Oh, glitch! Here they come!
Tekki: Oh, sparks and cogs! Hold them back until I shut the gate down!
After wave of griffons
Tekki: Phew. That's the last of them. Ack! Griffon feathers everywhere!
Gatekeeper: Ugh, and they stick everywhere. It's going to take us weeks to clean up this mess!
Tekki: Are we ready this time? Do we actually have the right coordinates so bloodthirsty winged beasts won't drop on our heads?
Gatekeeper: Yes, I made the proper adjustments to the spatial harmonizer. We should be opening up right into the heart...of...oh, dear.
Tekki: Not again! What did you do? These mechanical monstrosities are going to obliterate us, unless I shut down the gate...again!
After wave of steam mechataurs
Tekki: Well, I guess it's a good thing we were all here to pull your little grey cheeks out of the fire!
Gatekeeper: How about next time you run a few preliminary tests before plugging strange crystals into our network?
Tekki: Are we ready to try this again? Or should I say, are we ready to see what else comes through that gate?
Gatekeeper: You double-checked my coordinates this time. And I verified the repairs you made to the quantum tunneling coils.
Tekki: Well, then let's observe which one of us is the bookah. Firing the trigger switches...now!
Tekki: Oh, cogs and gears! What in the Eternal Alchemy is going on here?
Upon success
Gatekeeper: Finally, that ordeal is over. We need to keep this gate off-line until we can debug the bad component.
Tekki: It's probably a geodetical randomizing alembic, attached to the enumeration array...
Tekki: Ah! That's got it! We're back online. The corrupt sub-codes in the trans-spatial matrix have been purged.
Gatekeeper: Didn't you observe what just transpired? You're not seriously thinking of using this thing, are you?
Tekki: Invention waits for no one! Excelsior!
Gatekeeper: Thanks for your help! I'm sure Tekki won't mind if I let you take some of this extra equipment off our hands. For a reasonable price of course.
