Curses! Nothing but thundershrimp and barracuda all day long! What I would give for a decent catch.

Shrimp aren't a good catch?

Absolutely not! The thundershrimp grab the hooks, but as you start reeling, the weight of their shells breaks either the line or pole. It's a waste of time and catgut.

Why don't you net them?

Not much of a fisher, are ya? Everyone knows thundershrimp rip right through a net. The traps we put down on the lake floor hold them fine, but you can't catch 'em with a rod.
