- Jim Lad: Cap'n! The merchants are demanding more gold. And the musicians are refusing to perform!
- Captain Penzan: Well, then, we'll need to find some more treasure!
- Jim Lad: What's our course, sir?
- Captain Penzan: Less torture, less pillaging, and a little more culture. And that requires plenty of booty.
- Captain Penzan: Gentlemen, I'm off to find more treasure! Who's with me?
- Captain Penzan: Very well, then. At least I have my loyal first mate...right?
- First Mate Blackwit: Aye-aye, Cap'n! I'd follow ya to the gates of the Underworld, I would. I...where are we going now?
- Captain Penzan: Just fetch my pack bull. We'll need him to carry all of that gold back.
- First Mate Blackwit: Gold? Why didn't ya say so, Cap'n? Right away, sir!
- During the event
- First Mate Blackwit: Go on, then, ye worthless, stubborn beast!
- Captain Penzan: Nothing cools the nostrils quite like a pinch, eh?
- First Mate Blackwit: Uhm, Cap'n? We didn't bring the serving boy with us.
- Captain Penzan: What? But who will fetch my snuff? And my wine? This simply won't do! Let's turn about at once–"
- Jim Monagle: Careful, Cap'n! These buccaneers are gettin' more an' more pushy, as of late.
- First Mate Blackwit: Aye. Given the current...hostilities with the other pirates, maybe we should be layin' low for a bit.
- Captain Penzan: All the more reason to continue, even without the serving boy! A good privateer would never back down from some petty rumble!
- First Mate Blackwit: The saltmarsh? I hear tales o' worse things than bloody pirates in 'larr, Cap'n.
- Captain Penzan: I'm not afraid of a few dastardly rogues and some angry lizard. Let's go!
- First Mate Blackwit: Cap'n, wait! I can't go no further without rest. And I'm dyin' of thirst.
- Captain Penzan: I thought you were scared of this swamp. Now you want to stay awhile?
- Captain Penzan: Let's move on before these drakes make a feast of our bull, here. Just think of the gold...and all of the rum that we can buy once we've fetched it!
- First Mate Blackwit: Cap'n! We've been running forever. Where is our treasure?
- Captain Penzan: Why, it's aboard our flagship, "The Golden Piece".
- First Mate Blackwit: Hey, where is she anyway? Didn't we cast anchor nearby?
- Captain Penzan: I had her sunk, remember? With the treasure aboard the ship and ship on the ocean floor, no one will ever find it!
- Captain Penzan: Aha! Just where I left you! I hope you didn't miss me too much.
- Captain Penzan: Hard to believe that a man of discriminating tastes would have such a firm grasp of naval tactics. But it's true!
- Captain Penzan: (scoffs) When was the last time you bathed, good man? You smell like a filthy pirate!
- First Mate Blackwit: But Cap'n! We just went for a swim! Surely it's the swamp you smell...unless-"
- Event completion
- First Mate Blackwit: Beggin' yer pardon, Cap'n, but I'm taking a break! Care for some ale?
- Captain Penzan: Ale? That's what you've burdened my poor pack bull with? Ale is a common man's drink!
- First Mate Blackwit: But, sir! This here be Bjorn's Brew! Finest to be had and not much left at that!
- Captain Penzan: What nonsense! I order you to leave that sludge here. Once we've returned, it's nothing but twenty year-old cognac for us!
- Back at the hideout
- Captain Penzan: I've returned! And with enough gold to pay for a thousand drinks!
- Jim Lad: Cap'n? You ever think there's more to life than just gold?
- Captain Penzan: Of course! There's wine and silk and gourmet cuisine!
- Jim Lad: Shall we prepare another feast for ye, Cap'n?
- Captain Penzan: A capital idea! The richest merchants of Lion's Arch could never live like this!

Trivia[edit]
- At the conclusion of the event Captain Penzan throws First Mate Blackwit's barrels of Bjorn's Brew onto the ground, which are recovered at the end of the event Protect the Priory team as they search for artifacts by the Priory team.
- If you follow Captain Penzan back to his home when the event is done he will sing a rewritten version of the Major-General's Song from the comic Opera Pirates of Penzance.
