Defeat the corrupting ghost is a level 39 event that takes place in Martyr's Tomb, Ruins of Holy Demetra.

These are the expected rewards for a level 39 player. Higher level players receive dynamically adjusted rewards.
Walkthrough[edit]
It is a good idea to clear the area of Angry Spirits before starting. Use /kneel by the Statue of Dwayna to make the Emissary of Dwayna appear. Choose the 3rd dialog option to learn Tenad's name. You have a limited time to find the Open Coffin in an adjacent room, and interact with it. Choose the 1st dialog option to summon Tenad.
Once Confessor Tenad's ghost is defeated, all the Angry Spirits in the area will become non-aggressive Risen Spirits. Additionally a small Chest will appear to the north of the Ancient Tomb.

- Investigating the tomb
- Here lies the empty tomb of Saul d'Alessio. The markings on the side of it are ornate but worn with time.
- Come forth and face me, Tenad the Faithful!
- This is silly. I have better things to do.
- When Tenad appears
- Tenad the Faithful: Intruders! You dare tread where Master D'Alessio once lay?
- When Tenad is defeated
- Tenad the Faithful: No...I can't fail...not again! I will return...and fulfill my duty!
Notes[edit]
- Talking to the spirit Emissary of Dwayna in a room adjacent to that of the tomb will allow you to summon Tenad and start the event.
- If you cannot see the third dialog option when talking to the emissary, it means that the event has been done too recently.
- Upon completion, the hostile Angry Spirits that inhabit the immediate area will transform into neutral Risen Spirits.
