Balloon Pilot were NPCs that managed the Hot Air Balloons around Tyria. There is one next to each balloon tower, so there are two in each zone except Southsun Cove and Orr.
Dialogue[edit]
- During Duel with the Queen's Champion event
- So you think you've got what it takes to make it in the Crown Pavilion? I think you'll need to prove yourself first.
How do I do that?
- A champion of the Queen is nearby, taking all challengers. I'll wait here while you prove your mettle.

- I don't need to prove anything to you.
- During Escort the overdue emissary to the hot-air balloon event
- I'm sorry. This balloon isn't going anywhere until the emissary on my passenger manifest gets here.

- You could find out what's holding up my emissary and their Seraph escort.

- During Drive off the Aetherblade pirates event
- If those pirates get in a lucky shot, my balloon will be grounded and I'll be out of a job!

- This is balloon can take you direct to the Queen's Jubilee in Divinity's Reach. Climb aboard!
