Commune with the Glacial Trench is a hero challenge located in a cavern in Watchful Fjord. Simply swim to the bottom of the ocean floor to reach this hero point. There are three poisonous urchins that should be cleared out before you attempt to commune with the point, or else they will interrupt you.

When glaciers move, they produce energy that collects in snowdrifts and frigid waters. This ancient trench is a natural reservoir for this phenomenon.
Commune with this place of power.

Place the Rune of Scavenging into the pool of energy.- You've gained all you can from this place of power.
Notes[edit]
- If interacted with after gaining hero point and with a Superior Rune of Scavenging in inventory, and if you place the rune into the pool of energy it will destroy the rune and reward you with Enchanted Glacial Shard, an item required for Treasure Hunter achievement.
