Defeat the Legendary bounty (Wyverns)

Defeat the Legendary bounty is a level 80 group event that occurs in Jahai Bluffs at the Wyvern Roost.

Strategy[edit]

Upon starting the bounty, multiple Minor Electric Wyverns and Minor Fire Wyverns will spawn. The Minor Fire Wyverns will launch fireballs wherever the glowing blue orbs travel,[citation needed] while the Minor Electric Wyverns will breathe short-range beams in front of them.

Afterwards, a Legendary Wyvern Matriarch will appear. She will perform AoE attacks and launch small fireballs. Occasionally, a break bar will appear and she will start to flap her wings, knocking back all players in front of her. Breaking the bar will stop the attack and knock her down, making her an easy target.

Once the Matriarch's health reaches 50%, she will fly into the center and become Invulnerable. She will continue to launch fireballs in random directions while the Legendary Wyvern Patriarch spawns. He also performs AoE attacks, however he breathes out large gouts of flame, causing large portions of the ground to inflict Burning on players who walk there. Occasionally, he will dig one of his wings into the ground and create a shockwave after a small delay. Like other shockwaves, jumping over it or dodging it is enough.

Once the Patriarch reaches 50%, the Matriarch will land, and both will be targetable. They will both perform all attacks, including the shockwave and the gusts of wind, however they do not appear to move that much, and will not stack with one another. It is recommended to ignore the Matriarch and focus down the Patriarch, as his large fire attack can quickly kill players. At some point during this final stage, more Minor Wyverns will spawn. Continue to focus one of the Legendary Wyverns, as the Minor Wyverns will often group near the players and get AoE'd down without the need to focus them. When one of the Legendary Wyverns falls, move on to the other and kill that one as well.
