Become the Bear turns the user into a half-norn half-bear. It applies the Become the Bear effect. The transformation also applies the following multipliers to your primary attributes' base values (916 at level 80):

While transformed, your weapon skills are replaced with the following skill set (and the right side of the skill bar is disabled).

Patch Changes

  • These transforms no longer increase power levels exponentially.
  • The damage of skills in these transforms has been adjusted to compensate.

  • Become the Bear has been added to the game.


In Guild Wars, norn opponents have the ability to transform into Bear Form which will change their appearance to that of a bear, but not their skills. The player can get a special skill called Ursan Blessing which will change their skills, but not their appearance.
