Anvil[edit]

This old anvil could do serious damage if you had a way to swing it.

If the player is holding a Branch:

Branch[edit]

This branch would make a fine handle for a hammer, if you had something heavy to attach to it.

Notes[edit]

  • Constructing a makeshift hammer grants three charges of this effect.
  • One charge is removed when using Smash and hitting an enemy.
  • Giving the hammer to an Unarmed Villager or interacting with a Weapon Crate will remove this effect completely.
  • While the effect is active, you're wielding a weapon with the Improvised Hammer Skin.
  • Interacting with a Weapon Crate while holding the completed makeshift weapon will earn credit towards the Up in Arms achievement (one for each of the three different weapon types) and the Junkyard Weaponsmith achievement.
