Hello there!

I was lurking on the recent changes page and noticed a large edit to one of your user pages so I thought I would come take a look. It is nice to come across a user that enjoys the game as much as you do and takes the time to make a nice user page to document their journey through GW2. Why thank you. I just really enjoy playing the game and thought making a user page would be fun to do. Thinking up the backstories for my characters is probably my favorite part. Since for me it adds another layer to my characters and added to my GW2 experience/enjoyment. My only problem is dragging myself away from playing the game to working on my page. replacing images

In the future, it would be preferred if you uploaded new versions over the existing images, rather than uploading to completely new filenames. You can then move the files, just as you would move any page in the wiki. Uploading over existing images preserves the old version in the file history, whereas uploading a new filename and then replacing the file links on the page just leaves a lot of orphaned files. —Dr Ishmael 03:28, 29 September 2014 (UTC)

You can do so by navigating to the the file page and hit the "Upload a new version of this file" under the file history section. The wiki will fill in the name of the file for you.--Relyk ~ talk < 05:31, 29 September 2014 (UTC)

Alright, I deleted all of the orphaned images since they were badly named and png (ew). I'm assuming Shades tried to upload over the existing files, but since they were png, and she was uploading jpg (which is correct), it didn't work, so she just gave up and uploaded them to a new filename, which is the only way the images could have been updated anyway. --Ventriloquist 08:10, 29 September 2014 (UTC)
