Node Work[edit]

Hey, thank you very much for adding all this information to the respective node articles and for uploading these nifty maps! Hope to see you around and happy wiki-ing! User Incarnazeus Signature.pngtalk 10:29, 20 June 2017 (UTC)

Thanks for the kind words! I've still got a lot to do (I know all the locations and plan on adding the missing ones plus screenshots). Matite (talk) 12:08, 20 June 2017 (UTC)
A thanks from me as well. The maps are really clean and straightforward. Great job! —Ventriloquist 20:15, 20 June 2017 (UTC)

The Goldclaw Holiday Collection - Heart of Thorn[edit]

Email from Matite to Kvothe:

"Can I ask why you removed the new location picture I went to all the trouble of adding on this page: The Goldclaw Holiday Collection

You added your OWN picture that does not even fit correctly inside the table when I had already added a picture that fitted correctly yesterday.

It's like you saw me make a change (i.e. add a helpful location picture as that book was hard to find) and you weren't happy someone else contributed to the wiki so you had to overwrite it with your own picture for some reason.

Things like this seriously de-motivate other people like myself from contributing to the wiki. At least explain why you changed the picture."

I have temporarily restored your image to have a fair discussion. I took File:Heart of Thorn location.jpg last year when the object/book Heart of Thorn by Snargle Goldclaw was put into the game. The collection was introduced this year. I am thankful for every single contribution to the wiki - please do not be discouraged to make edits. I seriously thank you for the effort! But File:GW2 The Goldclaw Holiday Collection Mad Kings Lab Book-Location.jpg gives less context of the surroundings making it harder for readers to find. Deletion of redundant images happens regularly. File:Heart of Thorn location.jpg still has room for improvement - the UI is shown and maybe one could get an even wider shot (having the full book case in frame is what I thought a good compromise). I am not sure what you mean with "picture that does not even fit correctly inside the table". —Kvothe (talk) 12:20, 9 October 2021 (UTC)
I'm guessing the last part is because the images are not exactly the same height. - Doodleplex 17:14, 9 October 2021 (UTC)
First of all I am sorry if I came across as rude (I was just very annoyed at the time). I did not realise that you are an admin. I added my picture as there was nothing there and that book was very hard to find based on the existing location picture. As for the "fit correctly inside the table" part, Doodleplex is correct: it looks weird when they don't match up and I was just trying to do a good job. - Matite (talk) 05:59, 10 October 2021 (UTC)
