Help me, please?

I noticed the date/time in your signature links to your talk page. How did you do that trick? I've played with templates and throwing tildes in My Preferences but I can't figure out how you pulled that one off. Would you please share with me? :) - Alice 17:37, 21 February 2011 (UTC)

Sure, this is my signature as following in my preferences: - {{SUBST:User:Lucian Shadowborn/Other Pages/sigtest|{{subst:#time: G:i, j F Y}} (UTC)}}

Now, "subst" allows the txt on the template to be applied (not the template itself). For just the time {{subst:#time: G:i, j F Y}} (UTC) Make sure to add (UTC). You can also change the font and link by doing this [[User talk:Example|<font color="#EF6">{{subst:#time: G:i, j F Y}} (UTC)</font>]] Keep in mind, your signature might be too long and may have to resort to what I did.
