Erm, did you know that you can upload to replace an existing file by clicking on the "Upload a new version of this file" button beneath the file history on the file page, rather than uploading under a new name every time? :/ I'll go sort out which need deleting! Also, I agree that the seraph weapons all need updating since beta :P (i.e. removal of the tier 1/2 aureate and krytan junk) Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 17:08, 13 January 2013 (UTC)

Related traits[edit]

None of those traits are unique to Mind Wrack. Each affects all shatters and are listed on the shatter page. Mora 23:06, 12 February 2013 (UTC)

The section says "Related Traits". They're clearly related. But if you think it adds clutter, how about I change them to a more prominent link to the Shatter page than the one in the sidebar (which I didn't notice till just now)? Kurtosis 23:12, 12 February 2013 (UTC)

Question: Some traits modify Shatters, but are not specific to Shatters, and can apply to other skills. For example, Illusion of Vulnerability modifies both Diversion, and Focus #4 secondary (Into the Void), and Greatsword #5 (Illusionary Wave). If any of those interrupt a target casting a spell, the trait applies Vulnerability. That would be useful to have on the wiki, but since the trait is not specifically related to any of these abilities, and the ability will not always proc the trait (if no interrupt occurs), then... how should that be handled? Dazzling is another example - it works whether you daze via Diversion or Mantra of Distraction. Kurtosis 23:26, 12 February 2013 (UTC)

Leave it as it is, only the effects need to list which skills are affected. If it is something as an interrupt it could be ANY interrupt (environmental weapons included etc.) to trigger the effect. The interrupt page already states all the ways how to interrupt, there is no need to add it all over to a single trait page. And maybe the "Related trait" was bit of a bad wording, the meaning is still something like "Traits affecting <add skill pagename here>." But it is like that on every skill page that has traits affecting the skill :/ Magistrella 23:36, 12 February 2013 (UTC)
Got it, thanks. Is it kosher to leave the Note: on the Mind Wrack page to check the Shatter page for all traits affecting shatters? I didn't think to do that at first, and instead defaulted to modifying the Mind Wrack page, even though Shatter is linked in the sidebar. Others could make the same mistake, or just not realize to check the Shatter page for that info. Kurtosis 00:08, 13 February 2013 (UTC)
Removed it already, will put a point on my to do list to fix up that bad wording for "related traits" -> "Traits affecting <Skill name>" when im done with my fine crafting materials recipe list. Magistrella 00:21, 13 February 2013 (UTC)
