I think its an interesting concept. I think it would be better without the white outlines, and if the text was the goldenrod color that you see in-game, and bolded to be made more visible. The (city) suffix for the cities isn't really necessary either. Lastly, I think you should include the shiverpeak mountains. I understand your artistic choice to omit them, a statement on the barren forgettable nature of their countless homogenous peaks and the blank canvas presented by the snow covered fields on which we paint the portrait of our destiny. I just think in this case, completeness should trump artistic statements. Lastly, I think you should crop the map as much as you can. Yes not all the zones are in yet, but I can already see that you can crop away the top left and bottom sides. Psycho Robot (talk) 23:05, 16 January 2014 (UTC)

OK, Thanks.
This is a trial page modeled after the existing zone map. That map has block outlines, so that is the way I went. If/when this is done as a main page, what it finally looks like will be the result of discussion.
There are a couple of templates that control the details of the presentation. The template is currently a minimal implementation with only enough stuff in it to get the idea across. Color could be a parameter. So could boldness.
Getting the blocks in the right place is a chore. I will probably add more regions. It's simply a matter of time, not a comment on the region...
Ah, cropping! HOW? I'm pretty much stuck with the images currently available...
Counting characters is a PAIN. Is there something that will do that for me, or, better yet, get the actual height and width of a string? If not, is there a WIKI enhancement that will do it?

• I love the navigation map you are working on. I've made it my starting page for the site and hope it, or something like it goes live. And in case you have no life at all, and all the time in the world to work on this stuff, consider making the black & White area maps in the info-bars respond/act in a similar fashion. I would love to quickly navigate to adjoining areas without having to know their names, using strictly visual cues. 200px-Altar_Brook_Vale_locator.svg.png Kendorian (talk) 17:11, 3 March 2014 (UTC)
