Please start your comments at the bottom of pages, only way I knew you made this was because I checked the history. Also please use proper indentation. Pictures need to either be uploaded by yourself or use the ones that are already uploaded. If you want something specific, you will probably need to upload one of your own, just make sure there are no copyright violations. Specifically if you want a picture of a dervish or gwen, you would have to upload them as there is nothing in guild wars 2 about these (as of yet). If yo uare going to upload a picture of your own, make sure you label it 'User_bookoftyria_whatever' Venom20 19:39, 30 July 2010 (UTC)

Basic formatting

There are some basic things that are good to know. Remember to always sign with ~~~~. Another thing to do while having conversations is the indent your comments with :'s. The number of :'s will determine how much indentation there will be. For instance, if you are the first person to comment, then you don't need to indent, if you are the second person in the same conversation then you should use':', the third person '::' etc. Just check to see how many the last person used and use one more is a good rule of thumb. If you want to make something you type use italic lettering, then use '' around what you are typing, like this: this lettering is in italics. If you are viewing an image on a page, you can click the edit button to see the coding that references that image, or if you are viewing the image directly from it's "home" page the link is just File:<insert name of image here>. Also, go to your preferences and uncheck the box next to your signature that says "Treat signature as wikitext (without an automatic link)" that way your Signature is automatically hyperlinked to your main userpage. --XerelinFexdrion 19:01, 30 July 2010 (UTC)

Userboxes

Hi, it looked like you were trying to format your boxes so that they were in rows of 3. I've created a little bit of code for you to ensure that they stay organized. Extra Pages

Depends how you want to do it, if you want just 1 character page here you will have all your characters, then create something like User:BookofTyria/Characters. If you want one for each character then you would need to know the name of your character to create the page. Then just create the page User:BookofTyria/whatever, where whatever is the name of your character. Venom20 22:04, 30 July 2010 (UTC)

You don't actually go anywhere, you just go to the page. What I mean by that is just add '/whatever' after your name in the URL. It should bring you to an empty page saying that it doesn't exist, in which case you click on create. The only thing you need to remember is to keep it in your userspace. I mean that all your pages must have the format User:BookofTyria/ in the url. Venom20 22:11, 30 July 2010 (UTC)

Contents of talk pages are not to be deleted

You are not allowed to be deleting any discussions on your talk pages. They can be archived as long as they are not current, but you cannot delete and discussions on any pages for any reasons, except fro the reason to archive them (in which case they are not being deleted, but moved). I suppose you can place them wherever you want. Your userpage is yours to create, as long as you are not infringing on anyone's copyrights, you can do whatever you generally want in terms of design. If you are asking an opinion, then personally I think that GW1 things belong with GW1W and GW2 things belong with GW2W, but that's just what I think. To the best of my knowledge, you cannot. You should be able to copy the code and paste it. But any templates used on GWW would need to be created here as well for it to work. Also any images would need to be uploaded here. Venom20 03:55, 31 July 2010 (UTC)

In GW, press CTRL+Shift+H, I think it was to hide the UI. Press PrtScrn. You'll now have a screenshot in the folder that was chosen by you. If you want to crop it, you can actually even use just Paint to cut out just the part you want, create a new file, paste. Then, you go here; Special:Upload, browse for the newly saved image, and select it, click OK, and in front of everything that just appeared in 'Destination filename:', you put 'User BookofTyria '. Text Color

Not with that quote template that you have used. You can try to use this one, it will allow you to select a few colours. Barring that, you would have to manually create the code for the text. Venom20 22:19, 3 August 2010 (UTC)
