This article is about crafting discipline. For the vendor, see Master Jeweler. A jeweler may craft jewelry : notably rings, earrings and necklaces. A jeweler can craft items useful to all professions.
Discovery[edit]
Most useful recipes require the use of Discovery. Most jewelry follows the pattern of combining two specific components of the same metal then adding a jewel found when mining for the related ore. For example, create a copper setting and a copper band then use those in Discovery with an amber pebble to discover the amber solitaire ring.
The standard patterns are:
- Combine the gem with a setting with a chain, band, or hook to create an amulet, ring, or earring.
- Combine the gem with a filigree to create an upgraded version of the gem.
- Combine two gems and a pile of similar grade dust to create a different kind of gem.

Basic Recipe Templates[edit]
Most of the Jeweler crafting recipes follow a set formula. The following tables hold generic forms of those formula, plus any recipes that deviate from them.
The metal portions of the recipes repeat once for each of copper, silver, gold, platinum, mithril, and orichalcum. {{verify}}
