To craft the legendary PvP back item The Ascension in the Mystic Forge you will need four items:

• the Gift of the Competitor
• the Gift of Fortune
• the Gift of Skirmishing
• the Wings of Ascension

The first item, the Gift of the Competitor, is obtained by completing the achievements in the Year of the Ascension part I, II, III, and IV. Obtaining those achievements may cost a little gold, but the ingredients needed for the gift itself don't. The second item, the Gift of Fortune, is also needed for the first-generation legendary weapons. It requires a large amount of tier 6 materials, Globs of Ectoplasm, and Mystic Clovers. The third item, the Gift of Skirmishing, needs 4 Mist Core Fragments, which can only be obtained from a Glorious Armor Box, the final reward of the Glorious Reward Track. It also needs some other stuff. The fourth item, the Wings of Ascension, is obtained by combining the Recruit's Wings of Glory, the Veteran's Wings of Glory, the Champion's Wings of Glory, and the Elite's Wings of Glory in the Mystic Forge.
