Template talk:Achievement icon

Would it be possible for parameter 2 to overwrite parameter 1 even when it's a page= link?
So we wouldn't need to use
{{achievement icon|page=Leystone Armor (achievement)|icon=only}} [[Leystone Armor (achievement)|Leystone Armor]]

- You can leave parameter 1 empty in such a case (well, here you could even set it to anything else, it wouldn't matter). E.g.
{{achievement icon|page=Leystone Armor (achievement)|<!-- unnamed parameter 1 empty -->|Leystone Armor}}
. I have also modified the template to get rid of the suffix for the parameter page, as those individual achievement pages most likely don't have an canonical name set but often an additional page name suffix. Now e.g.{{achievement icon|page=Leystone Armor (achievement)}}
creates: Leystone Armor. I hope this is enough to avoid your requested unnamed parameter shifting, which to be honest I'm not really fond of thinking it through completely (e.g. all edge cases). --Tolkyria (talk) 14:47, 22 May 2021 (UTC)
