Isn't everything on Guild Wars 2 wiki incomplete since we do not have complete information on anything about Guild Wars 2? Do we need the stub? Ramei Arashi 03:31, 21 July 2010 (UTC)

I always thought the stub tag was comical. I understood it to be added to an article when it was missing known information. But then, why take the time to add the stub tag? Why not just finish the article, unless I'm missing something. Venom20 User Venom20-icon-0302-sm.png 03:39, 21 July 2010 (UTC)
Maybe the person that adds the stub recognizes the lack of information, but doesn't have the information him/herself Themastermoo 03:40, 21 July 2010 (UTC)
That's fair, but then perhaps a comment can be made on discussion pages with the inclusion of the tab, I don't think there has been any other information released on weakness Venom20 User Venom20-icon-0302-sm.png 03:43, 21 July 2010 (UTC)
For this case, it's just saying to keep an eye out, I suppose. Probably not necessary, like you said. And you're right, if a stub tag is added, a note on the talk page saying what should be added is ideal. --Kyoshi User Kyoshi sig.png (Talk) 03:55, 21 July 2010 (UTC)
This doesn't deserve a stub-tag, though. A stub-tag indicates that information, which is already available in this day and time, is missing. --Naoroji User Naoroji Golem - Green.jpg 07:47, 21 July 2010 (UTC)

Effect?[edit]

So, do we really not know what weakness does? Not even suspected after two demos? Thering 13:47, 21 March 2011 (UTC)

It reduces the damages dealt by the target, just like GW1's weakness. But as it's not officially confirmed, we can't write it in the article. Chriskang 14:27, 21 March 2011 (UTC)

Damage or Power?[edit]

I'd like to figure out if this affects the Power stat of a character and therefore reduces damage or if it just affects the damage that they output directly. -- Blue Phoenix User Blue Phoenix Phoenix inverted.jpg 00:13, 16 December 2011 (UTC)

The weakness condition gives the victim a 50% chance to deal a glancing blow. Glancing blows deal only half damage. So it affects the damage dealt directly. Gnarf 16:49, 9 May 2012 (UTC)

Sundering Mace contradiction[edit]

Sundering Mace under Traits that apply weakness contradicts with the information on the Sundering Mace article itself. As I cannot check ingame right now, can anyone verify this? ~ Flightmare 21:39, 18 August 2012 (UTC)

Was simply not updated. It is now. — Gnarf ~ El Psy Congroo ~ 21:53, 18 August 2012 (UTC)

Fumble?[edit]

If you look at the elixir gun's number 1 skill, tranquilizer dart, it says "Weakness (3 1/4s): -50% Endurance regeneration, 50% Fumble". But there's no mention of Fumble on this page, and Fumble redirects here. What is Fumble? Is it the glancing blows thingy? 114.198.7.200 21:33, 2 November 2012 (UTC)

That's the previous description for Weakness--Relyk ~ talk > 18:21, 1 January 2013 (UTC)

Unrestricted[edit]

what does "unrestricted" mean when it comes to Fumble?--Knighthonor (talk) 07:50, 31 May 2015 (UTC)

Damage reduction[edit]

Targets under the effects of weakness generate around 25% less non-critical damage; critical damage is unaffected is that calculated from that 50% of the time attacks deal 50% less damage or is that 25% reduction besides 50% chance for fumble? Mediggo (talk) 09:59, 12 May 2013 (UTC)
