Trivia: Likely to Possibly[edit]
Adjusted "most likely" to "possibly" in the Trivia section regarding it being a Zelda reference. Given that ANET was originally Triforge, the reference is more likely to that or possibly a play on both... PixelMatt 14:44, 4 October 2012 (UTC)
- True, but the full Triforce in Zelda is built up of the Triforce of courage, wisdom and power. And the description of the item refers to that. We can leave it at "possibly" though, it could still be a coincidence :) - AsuraWut 15:31, 4 October 2012 (UTC)
- Blue, red, and green are also the colors of the the Three Goddesses (Nayru, Din, Farore respectively) in Zelda mythology. Arshay Duskbrow 18:38, 4 October 2012 (UTC)
- Yep, and the colors are even in the right place. Courage/Farore's (green) is bottom right, wisdom/Nayru's (blue) is bottom left and Power/Din's (red) is on top. AsuraWut 19:11, 4 October 2012 (UTC)
- Good points, what do you think, amend to a single trivia line saying it is likely a dual reference to Anet's history and the Zelda game, leave as is or revert back to the old? PixelMatt 19:24, 4 October 2012 (UTC)
- I think its safe to say that's its a reference to both. I added a little detail to the trivia to help explain it to anyone unfamiliar with the series. talk 20:04, 4 October 2012 (UTC)
- Maybe this got to do with LoL's trinity force? " http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Trinity_Force " --Draaky 08:16, 6 October 2012 (UTC)
- That's another Triforce reference, so that would be a reference to another reference - more likely they both refer to the Legend of Zelda item :) --Mazzn 07:57, 31 October 2012 (UTC)

Quote[edit]
minor changes to the description to match what appears on the actual item in game. Also, the description is a quote by Logan Thackeray, should his name appear as well? PixelMatt 19:31, 4 October 2012 (UTC)
Recipe[edit]
Does anyone know if a pendant with a jewel slotted will work for the recipe as well? 80.112.181.245 11:45, 8 November 2012 (UTC)
League of Legends reference[edit]
While Morello (former PvP balancing staff for GW) works for RIOT Games and it might be a tribute to him (although I highly doubt it), it's more likely that it's just a Zelda Triforce reference. Otherwise we had to add Animal Crossing, because some guy sells a Triforce to the player [1], or even the Triforce arcade system [2] and everything else that's similar to the Triforce, because it could possibly refer to that. I feel like the League of Legends "trivia" should be removed - the "similar icon" isn't even that similar [3]. But I don't think that's a decision I can make on my own, so I want to know what other people think about this. --Mazzn 00:10, 12 November 2012 (UTC)
Ascended[edit]
Should it be mentioned that one of the German community developers stated that there'll not be an upgrade for this amulet (when ascended amulets are added)? 80.112.181.245 14:11, 20 November 2012 (UTC)
- Seems they changed their mind on this; "A Mystic Forge recipe has been added to upgrade the Triforge Amulet to an ascended version with a utility infusion slot." from the Game updates/2013-01-28 patch notes. Haven't had the chance to try (and discover) the recipe yet in-game. —Vella(Talk) 23:20, 28 January 2013 (UTC)
- Aye, fortunately they did. The recipe is 1 ecto, 1 mystic coin, 1 fractal relic and this amulet. 80.112.181.245 12:25, 29 January 2013 (UTC)
Reference to Pokemon as well[edit]
For those of you who once played Pokemon in their young years, like I did, might remember the games of the 3rd generation, named Ruby and Sapphire, they were released at the same date. About 1 year after that, the Emerald version (hybrid of Ruby and Sapphire) released, look at the Emerald Pendant, it has Vitality (Sapphire) and Power (Ruby), so yeah, it looks like some kind of reference to Pokemon to me. --Landon144 16:53, 2 December 2012 (UTC)
- That's kind of like saying something is a reference to the first three Pokemon games just because it uses the colors red, blue, and yellow. Anything could be a reference to almost anything, but the Zelda connection has a LOT more support for it (similarity between "triforge" and "triforce", similar shape, correct colors in the correct positions, plus the quotation referencing power, wisdom, and courage).
- If the Emerald Pendant were crafted by combining the ruby and sapphire ones and had a quote about needing to catch them all, then you'd have a much stronger case. --Felbryn 18:39, 2 December 2012 (UTC)
Why is this so expensive to make?[edit]
I don't understand... Why would anyone do this? It doesn't do anything special. You can't see it on your character (no aura or other effect). It's not part of any collection. What's the point? Rose Of Kali 10:02, 31 January 2016 (UTC)
- You're right, there isn't any point. The only reason its so expensive is the ridiculous number of ingredients (250 Orbs and 250 Crystalline Dust for each pendant) -Chieftain Alex 16:28, 31 January 2016 (UTC)
