Now that these story steps are both replayable and have two paths in them, perhaps we should reformat how the story steps go? For instance, I decided to help the charr instead of Laranthir and followed a very different path, at least until returning to the camp.--Rognik (talk) 14:47, 27 October 2015 (UTC)

It would probably be useful to section off the dialogue as 3 subheadings from when they branch and merge. Racial difference is minor enough to keep as notes, IMO. --BryghtShadow (talk) 14:21, 23 November 2015 (UTC)
Yeah, I've been considering such ever since I documented Seeking the Zalisco which is very similar to the HoT splits - particularly this one where the split is in the middle but the beginning and end are the same (more or less). Main annoyance has always been that such story steps also have multiple locations, so a simple standard header will feel over-used. I'm thinking just subheaders utilizing ; which would require reformatting S2 story instances since they grossly overuse that (to avoid confusion - going to reformat those… eventually… anyways). Note: No matter which branch you choose, Taimi and Braham always have the dialogue as you leave the camp.
"Taimi: Don't look so worried, Braham. Eir can take care of herself. As a wise old genius once said—"
"Braham Eirsson: Thanks, Taimi, but go easy on the asura wisdom for now. I'm a little preoccupied."
Both branches merge when the player says "Everybody form up and do your jobs. It's a long time until daylight." --BryghtShadow (talk) 15:28, 23 November 2015 (UTC)

Salvage bugged?[edit]

I'm trying to do the quest, but there's nothing to interact with at the green circle in the quest area. Am I missing something? Mystikpretzel (talk) 21:16, 31 December 2015 (UTC)

It's not you who salvages the parts, but the norn that comes with you (I forget his name). If it's not progressing, make certain he's still following and alive. --Rognik (talk) 20:00, 10 January 2016 (UTC)
He's alive and following but nothing is happening, still -- Crazy (talk) 15:08, 29 April 2016 (UTC)
