Talk:The Founding

Notable problems: layout, infobox (map is way too small, you have to click "show" to view it, possible flaw of infobox?), bad primary image for infobox. Transcribed, sicced, if there is no sic fix my error, but leave "accomodate" with one m. I might have been adding spaces before question marks.

Speedy reader achivement: I got the speedy reader achievement worth 10 points, but my friend didn't. Possible to only get this achievement if you're the first to read all 20 volumes on a given race / server / world ? Achivement unlisted in my achivement tabs. Probably got more to do with how fast you went to each 20 books. Konig/talk 14:06, 1 September 2012 (UTC)
Oh, and shouldn't this be titled "The Founding" - that's the actual items' names right? The Founding: Volume #? Not "Rise of Ebonhawke." Konig/talk 14:07, 1 September 2012 (UTC)
When you mouse over the item, yes, it says "The Founding", but the actual book's title is Rise of Ebonhawke. Or is that like a sub-title ? The words "Rise of Ebonhawke" should be mentioned somewhere in the article. Regarding speedy reader, the criteria are still unclear, my friend later got the title. Maybe you have to read every volume without leaving Ebonhawke ? User MadSkillz1o1 sig2.PNG MadSkillz1o1 09:59, 8 September 2012 (UTC)
If the actual books are called Rise of Ebonhawke, then the transcriptions are lacking, unless they're called such by an NPC. Konig/talk 18:47, 10 September 2012 (UTC)
The title Rise of Ebonhawke appears in every volume, and so does the volume title. So this page should look like this:
Volume 1: The Recall //(title)
Rise of Ebonhawke
Volume 1: The Recall
-transcribed text-
That looks bad... User MadSkillz1o1 sig2.PNG MadSkillz1o1 11:05, 17 September 2012 (UTC)

I guess the quotation container was kinda pointless, but I rather liked having a table of contents and putting it in a quote container. Visually more pleasing; and it more clearly shows that "this is about the book" and "this is the book". Why the change? Titus User titus the third.png 21:27, 14 May 2015 (UTC)

Having a single quotation container around the entire thing was kind of pointless, and having multiple quotations is oft viewed negatively on other articles it was done. I removed the section headings because that seemed like unnecessary text in the ToC. Konig 23:34, 14 May 2015 (UTC)
