Map[edit]

Simply said we need a map of this zone like the other zones has File:Kingdom of Fungus map.jpg. Also looking at this one its also not completed or perfect. There are areas that are not even on the map at all. Any ideas on how to make those maps ? Thought Tyria 3D would help but not really. There are world 1 and 2 but the test zone isnt even in the list. --DiegoDeLaHouska (talk) 10:54, 2 April 2023 (UTC)

Unless I've missed something, Tyria3D or the so-advertised more up to date version T3D Explorer don't work anymore (tested with my current dat file at least). Tyria3D just eats a seemingly infinite around of RAM (for what?) and never gets anywhere, and T3D can't parse some structures right at the start. There even seems to be a specific issue with the W3 SAB map: https://github.com/njibhu/t3d/issues/187 - Ray Koopa (talk) 20:32, 18 April 2023 (UTC)

Test Zone location[edit]

(since this is apparently too much of a "guess", I'll log the idea here)

"The visuals of the test zone seem to place it in the third zone of world 3 (since the third "underground" image on the SAB world map also has mine-like structures)."

This is in the same vein as how bonus 1 is in rapids, and bonus 2 is in 301. Test zone is a tangent of 303, or will be reworked to be 303 (since it would require a unique boss instead of the cage at least). Feel free to add thoughts on this. DrDeath8520 (talk) 14:04, 20 April 2023 (UTC)

It could honestly be any zone in W3, depending on how you look at it. But IMHO, the lower 3 "thought" bubbles" on the world map all seem to be W3, which would make W3 a cave-oriented world, a theme I don't think would span more than 1 world, consisting of Sparkling Pools, something with underwater sections, and something with lots of lava. Given the Test Zone textures not being the same as in Sparkling Pools / 203 Bonus, and the underwater section on bubble 2 matching what we have in Test Zone, I mapped it to be 302 for me. W4 would be something castle-oriented, covering only the top right thought bubble on the world map. Of course, as noticed, all of this is 100% speculation and nothing meant to be in the article. - Ray Koopa (talk) 14:12, 20 April 2023 (UTC)
I want to add that Joshua Foreman, who created the original zones, talked a bit about what, in his opinion, W3 and W4 would contain (besides a lot of background details on how W1 and W2 were created) in his multi-hour playthrough of Tribulation Mode some years ago, but at that point no longer worked for ArenaNet. The stream does not seem to have been archived though, sadly. - Ray Koopa (talk) 14:24, 20 April 2023 (UTC)
