Salvaged from

Is there a way to make the "Salvaged From" table for this page similar to the one seen here: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Superior_Sigil_of_Nullification#Salvaged_from ? I tried to just copy the code and it didn't work, admittedly I have no idea what I'm doing in that regard. Coranax (talk) 20:57, 15 November 2018 (UTC)

Acquisition

"Aquisition" is pretty vague. You have to Salvage, and then it is only a small percentage of a chance you will get the Symbol. I don't know if that percentage is better from the more rare Sigils or with better Salvage Kits.--Justaplayer (talk) 02:08, 18 November 2018 (UTC)

I agree. I just salvaged a stack of Major Sigils and didn't get a single one. I then tried a stack of Superior Sigils, and again, did not get a single Symbol of Control. Wolf Sabian (talk) 18:13, 18 November 2018 (UTC)

Here's the salvage rates based on the salvage pages (Rune/salvage research + Sigil/salvage research)

Tier	Average drop rate	Equivalent to
Minor	0.0192	Expect 1 Symbol for every 52 Minor runes salvaged
Major	0.0331	Expect 1 Symbol for every 30 Major runes salvaged
Superior	0.0564	Expect 1 Symbol for every 18 Superior runes salvaged

Thanks for the info. Ya I didn't get a single one. I've also been doing the odd salvage of Superior Runes and Sigils with Black Lion Salvage Kits, still nothing. Possibly just bad RNG. Wolf Sabian (talk) 22:10, 18 November 2018 (UTC)

Salvage kit quality

Does the type of salvage kit have any impact on the drop rate for these items? The salvage research pages only have the sigil/rune quality and not the quality of the kit. -Towelcat (talk) 23:52, 26 July 2023 (UTC)

Just salvaged a stack of sigils w/ the copper-fed and with a mystic kit, 26 and 24 symbols respectively. Seems like it doesn't matter. -Towelcat (talk) 00:06, 27 July 2023 (UTC)
