Talk:Rising Momentum

When I link the rising momentum buff from the active buffs above the utility skills, and then type /wiki in front of it, it gives the chat code [&BuPJAAA=] . I don't know how to edit the wiki so if someone could do this for me that would be great. The preceding unsigned comment was added by 67.198.105.93 (talk) at 04:37, 28 December 2018‎ (UTC).

Fixed. Thanks for the update! --Imry 05:04, 28 December 2018 (UTC)

Does Not Compound With Swiftness[edit]

It probably goes without saying, but I didn't see it listed on the page. The speed buff from Rising Momentum does not compound with Swiftness. I applied Swiftness to myself, started running, then swapped into and out of the trait; there was no change in movement speed. As well, Rising Momentum does not compound with Leader of the Pact in cities. I did not test whether the trait compounds with Superior Rune of the Traveler 25% buff to max out at 33% to match Swiftness. Ara Marcab (talk) 02:04, 11 January 2019 (UTC)

Updated. Thanks! --Imry 04:26, 11 January 2019 (UTC)
How did you perform the test? Your claim directly contradicts the patch notes which says "This trait has replaced Hardening Persistence as an adept tier trait and grants the revenant a 5% increased movement speed for each point of upkeep they are using. The movement speed granted by this trait stacks with all other movement speed increases. Simply eyeballing it will not be sufficient especially if you are doing it out of combat. A key point to keep in mind when dealing with movement speed is that anything that increases movement speed doesn't necessarily(most don't) bypass the movement speed cap of 400 units per second. The note about movement speed increases not stacking seems to directly contradict the updated skill fact. --71.163.107.7 01:07, 5 March 2019 (UTC)

I can see how it'd be confusing. They mean that this speed increase will not be applied on top of swiftness (33%). Your character will take speed from the highest buff. So for example, you have 3 points of upkeep and no swiftness, you'll be at +15%. With swiftness you'll be at +33%, as long as your upkeep is below 7. If you have 7+ stacks of upkeep (for like 2seconds, that's a ton of upkeep), then you'll have 35-50% movement speed for however long that is. You will not have 68-83%, because Rising momentum can stack with itself, but not with other swiftness sources. --Rain Spell (talk) 02:23, 5 March 2019 (UTC)

Does this stack with other sources of speed increase such as Swiftness? The patch update note says it does but the note in the article notes that effects providing a bonus to movement speed don't stack.
