Is the ability to mine rich ore nodes 10 times outdated? I can only mine them 8 times and have been for a very long time now. --109.250.191.89 10:45, 26 June 2021 (UTC)

I'm guessing you're using unlimited gathering tools then. The unlimited mining picks have been changed to gather twice in one strike with the third strike since the May 8, 2018 patch. So while you might be striking only 8 times you'll still be getting materials worth 10 strikes. Nightsky (talk) 15:41, 26 June 2021 (UTC)

Well that is interesting. I've tryed it with a Orichalcum Mining Pick now and it seems that that too has two mines in the third strike. (You can by the way easily check this yourself by interrupting the animation after the second time mining each time and counting then (or looking at the charges the pick has left before and after mining)). Guess they're bugged and behave like the unlimited ones in that regard. It's still 10 times for the node though so there's that that's still correct. Nightsky (talk) 01:38, 27 June 2021 (UTC)
