I've been waiting to see a skill like this! Love it! Will be a staple on my guardian.--Ph03n1x 19:37, 27 July 2011 (UTC)

<3 this skill ^^ --you like that don't you..The Holy Dragons 20:25, 27 July 2011 (UTC)
It's so very sad to see that this skill was changed from something awesome to something kind of lame. --KirbyGotenksabsorbed 22:21, 10 July 2012 (UTC)

The [sic] seems unneeded[edit]

The sentence makes good sense as it is, and I don't quite see the need to include the [sic] tag to it. "Create a bubble that absorbs hostile projectiles and grant retaliation to allies." It's saying that it will create the bubble and grant retaliation to allies, and in that context it makes good sense. So, with that said, I think the [sic] should be removed, unless someone feels otherwise? Tahkayun Packrunner 04:33, 14 August 2012 (UTC)

My understanding is that the wall turns hostile projectiles into retaliation-giving, harmless projectiles. — Gnarf ~ El Psy Congroo ~ 07:37, 14 August 2012 (UTC)
The sic is necessary. Bubble is singular and so both 'absorb' and 'grant' as verbs should accordingly be in agreement; 'grants' would be the correct form. Redshift 08:38, 14 August 2012 (UTC)
I believe Tahkayun Packrunner is trying to say that perhaps it is not the bubble that is granting retaliation. If the description is saying that the skill has two effects, the first is to create a bubble that absorbs projectiles and the second is to grant retaliation to allies, the grammar is correct. --Emelend 10:25, 14 August 2012 (UTC)
Sorry, indeed. This is what happens when you're editing in the middle of the night. Thanks for the clarification. Redshift 11:15, 14 August 2012 (UTC)
To restate: the confusion is whether the intended meaning is "[you] create and grant" or "a bubble that absorbs and grants". I'm pretty sure it's the second, but here's how to test: player 1 activates the skill to create the bubble, then moves away, then player 2 enters the bubble before it expires. If they get retaliation for entering the bubble, then it's obviously the bubble that grants it, not the initial skill activation. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 12:29, 14 August 2012 (UTC)
