Achievements[edit]

The two rifts in Lion's Arch both count for the "Living World Season 4" Skyscale Rider achievement. Not sure if a bug, figured I'd share this info.~Miss Lana (talk) 06:02, 29 January 2020 (UTC)

Map[edit]

Map in the page isn't loading any S4 map, is it just for me? 5.170.242.83 01:06, 3 February 2020 (UTC)

It's for everyone. The map background is not up to date, so it doesn't have LS4 maps uncovered, and it even missing the whole south-most strip so some maps are in the black. Eowin (talk) 08:25, 3 February 2020 (UTC)

Diego, please explain your change[edit]

I'm not sure what it means. Daddicus (talk) 01:20, 5 February 2020 (UTC)

Feedback 2020/03/11: Validity of the ride[edit]

I'm working out those rides since some days and can add feedback that I have tested/validated, and that are I think useful to know. I don't know how to do a bullet list so I put all in a row with numbers.

  • 1) Validity of the unlocking: When the rift triggers the path of orbs, if after the first one, the path tracer (luminous path to next orb) doesn't appear, it means the ride has been spoiled and isn't valid. The ride will not give completion. No need to continue. Just stop and restart.
  • 2) Upon restart: We can restart directly if we fail to unlock the ride properly. The only difference is that the orbs we caught on first try have a different appearance and will not give vm upon capturing. Only the orbs we didn't touch during first try will remain normal.
  • 3) Spoiler at start: If you're facing wrong direction when the path of orbs appear, and that while turning around to take first orb, you touch again the rift, the unlocking will be cancelled. The path of orbs then remains, but if you go for it, you will see that the path tracer doesn't appear, meaning the ride will not be valid.
  • Generally: I have tested it a lot of times to be sure of it: As long as the path tracer (luminous tray to next orb) keeps going, your ride is valid. As soon as the path tracer disappears, the ride is no more valid. It can happen at start (see previous bullet) but also during the ride if we do an action that is not allowed. --Tilu 05:16, 11 March 2020 (UTC)
Converted your feedback into a bullet list for readability (*). —Kvothe (talk) 02:12, 12 March 2020 (UTC)

Doing these while levelling bug[edit]

I don't know how to make changes on a wiki page, but there is a rather large bug with these reality rifts that isn't mentioned. If you do them while levelling (i.e. not level 80), they seem to give great XP. However, if you are riding your skyscale and collecting these as you level up, they cause the XP bar to restart, but sometimes you don't actually gain a level. Sometimes you will level laterm after you gain more XP, but it doesn't usually happen. You can technically lose a level and have it reset on you if you aren't max level doing these.
