Checkpoints[edit]

This instance appears to have checkpoints. After I disconnected during the fish collecting section, when I logged back in and re-entered the instance, the portal at the start was immediately available without talking to the Luminate and took me to the start of the fish collecting section instead of to the hide and seek bit. When I disconnected during the ooze generator section, the portal at the beginning of the instance took me straight back to the start of the ooze section. Has there ever been a story step like that before? Or after? Frozen Out doesn't seem to have any, I disconnected right before the final boss and had to redo the whole thing. Intended feature or just a weird quirk of how the portals work in this instance? --Azurem (talk) 18:36, 24 November 2016 (UTC)

Minions cause Mordrem Leyleecher to recover faster[edit]

On 10/26/2018, I fought the Mordrem Leyleecher as a minion master necromancer, following the advice on the wiki. I had a horrendous time until the monster finally defeated my minions, lessening its health recovery and allowing me to defeat it. I don't know about pets, but minions are absolutely affected by the pull/leech attack, and the boss was recovering to full health before the next coordinated attack (while I hid behind the south pillar) because it was leeching off of them and Aurene. --99.145.102.95 22:43, 26 October 2018 (UTC)

I did this chapter today as a reaper with Blood Fiend, Shadow Fiend and Flesh Golem. It was impossible to get Mordrem Leyleecher below ~30% of its HP. After checking this wiki page i was hiding behind the south pillar, waiting for my minions to die - but they didn't. Then i've used Taste of Death to destroy the Blood Fiend so eventually the 2 others would die then. (couldn't exchange the skills of the 2 other minions because i could never get out of the fight). Instead, i could see the HP bar of the Mordrem Leyleecher going down slowly and i've checked the log: Aurene wasn't doing any damage at all, but my Shadow Fiend and Flesh Golem. The Mordrem Leyleecher was healing up for max. 2% of it's HP, but he was suffering more damage until he could heal up the next time (i was still hiding behind the south pillar). After around 15 minutes the Mordrem Leyleecher was dead and the objective done. The mechanic is/was either bugged or it doesn't work at all. --2.247.251.99 01:09, 9 September 2019 (UTC)

Is this instance still possible?[edit]

I had not redone this instance since the LS episode came out. I was remembering that I hated it, but not that it was impossible. Here what I experienced today: The leecher achieved to pulled me from everywhere in the room. The trick of the south pillar was not working. Aurene was no doing any damage and several times, although properly in white circle, the special action skill never spawn so I had no way to do anything. I did stay at it during about 25 minutes and was so tired - and angry - with no way to exit (no exit icon) that I closed game to be able to escape the nightmare. Therefore my question: Has someone tried it again recently? Is it bugged? --Tilu 14:07, 28 January 2020 (UTC)

I update my input. I redid that instance and this time, it was working as intended, with the white circle -and the special skill - working properly. I probably had a completely bugged instance when I did it last time.--Tilu 14:17, 23 April 2020 (UTC)
This may be common, as it worked the first time, but failed utterly the next two times the circles were there -- it just stayed greyed out. >:-( --Obloodyhell (talk) 00:43, 15 December 2023 (UTC)
Confirmed, it's still buggy. I died, respawned, and again the thing failed to activate, a third time. When I exited the game and came back, then resumed, it completed properly, as described, with two uses of the power. --Obloodyhell (talk) 00:47, 15 December 2023 (UTC)

Feedback 2020/04/23: Text of encounter 1 should be updated[edit]

The description of encounter 1 is slightly wrong and should be updated. The first encounter is after hide and seek: This is when we have to go fishing with Aurene. That's the real encounter. The achievement with the toys can be done at this occasion, because this fishing exercice takes place in the room with water. --Tilu 14:16, 23 April 2020 (UTC)

I have allowed myself to slightly modified the text in "encounter 1" accordingly. Please feel free to correct my wording. I'm not native English speaking. Thank you. --Tilu 07:10, 26 April 2020 (UTC)

Misinformation concerning Mordrem Leyleecher[edit]

The Mordrem Leyleecher is not immune to damage as the wiki page suggests. It has a very high amount of HP but it can be damaged sufficiently enough so you can clear the encounter in a single Coordinated Attack, greatly reducing the time required for the encounter. It is paramount however that you either double dodge every Pull & Siphon and/or keep poison applied to it. Bringing a class that deals decent damage while selfproviding offensive boons is also an added bonus. Each Coordinated Attack knocks about 75% HP of the Leyleecher. I approve this is the best strategy. First attack it as much as possible, down to about 75% or so. Then when the coordinated attacks occurs, pop it and the boss should instantly down to 1% or so. Then keep attacking it until it dies. -- Shena'Fu (talk) 01:08, 8 October 2022 (UTC)
