Is it exactly as it's stated in the description? Or is the effect caused around your target if used with a ranged weapon? Seems quite useless if it's the former. Edit: Also, does this trait apply to the passive effect only or the active one as well? Gnarf 14:57, 27 July 2012 (UTC)

Tested it. Passive: ONLY to foes around yourself. Active: To foes around yourself. But your target is burned as well. — Gnarf ~ El Psy Congroo ~ 21:33, 9 August 2012 (UTC)
So it only lights up foes near you, but if you are using a melee weapon that includes your target anyway. Meaning as long as you use melee, you get nothing but gain? Sounds like a plan.Zau 18:37, 3 September 2012 (UTC)
Nothing but gain? It's a Grandmaster level trait that shouldn't be passively proccing to begin with. I'd take almost any other trait over this. -- 24.163.56.232 18:15, 5 September 2013 (UTC)

Does this effect create a Combo Field: Fire ?--128.227.240.232 14:49, 22 October 2012 (UTC)

Applie to Allies?[edit]

When you activate Virtue of Justice without this trait, nearby allies also burn things with their next attack. How does this trait affect this? Will it still be given to allies and just burn around them? Or does it act like normal for them and different for you? 99.48.205.36 14:56, 31 December 2012 (UTC)

Delete some notes[edit]

"Actually turns the passive Virtue of Justice into a PBAoE burn instead of single-target. Applies burning to nearby targets. While using ranged attacks, burning is applied to targets around you and not your target." I feel like these notes are redundant. The tool tip description given provides enough information to imply that on any occasion, the area around the player burns nearby enemies, ranged or melee. It states its effect precisely and without question.--Eclipse143 (talk) 10:42, 31 May 2013 (UTC)

PvP Split[edit]

This trait got silently splitted without a mentioning in the patchnotes. The PvP-version applies 4 seconds of burning instead of 2. --Saphir (talk) 15:06, 17 August 2017 (UTC)

That happened last December, and it was with [[Virtue of Justice (PvP)]] -Towelcat (talk) 01:11, 18 August 2017 (UTC)
