Talk:Nightmare weapons
Are Staff and Trident sharing their model or did the photos got mixed up? I can see very little, if any, difference between the Staff and the Trident on current photos, and the differences i do see might very well be only due to angle. Sethrea 18:22, 13 August 2012 (UTC)
- They share the same model. You can confirm this on the Guru photo montage — Rari 18:28, 13 August 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks. Now I wonder if that's intentional or a bug, I don't recall any other weapons, especially not exotic ones, sharing a model, though I might be wrong. Sethrea 18:48, 13 August 2012 (UTC)
- Actually, quite a few tridents and spears share models. Check out the Dragon's Deep weapon set, I recall that one does. The Golden Wing weapon set shared models between rifle and speargun. — Rari 18:53, 13 August 2012 (UTC)
- You're absolutely right, haven't noticed that before. Thanks! Sethrea 18:56, 13 August 2012 (UTC)
- Actually, I just viewed these in-game, they definitely do NOT share models. The Nightmare Trident is much bigger and has a bladed end to it. 96.232.200.18 11:13, 14 September 2012 (UTC)
- Mind posting a pic of it? Would be nice to see it, and it'd give us another reason to nag Anet to fix the previews. tanpopo 11:24, 13 November 2012 (UTC)

possible reference for Fellsprout?[edit]
Only one letter difference from the Pokemon Bellsprout. While not poisonous, it is carnivorous.
This would leave Graveyard Bloom as the only aetherized weapon without a clear reference, but it sounds like a generic "spooky" name anyway so it probably wasn't intended as one. —Dr Ishmael 14:44, 3 October 2013 (UTC)
- Derp. IAM!A Pokemon fanboi, but I should've at least read the infobox. -_- In any case, is it solid enough to add to the trivia? —Dr Ishmael 15:13, 3 October 2013 (UTC)
- anything growing in a graveyard thats a flower is a bloom... derp? -Chieftain Alex 17:25, 3 October 2013 (UTC)
- That's what I meant by it being a generic spooky name. —Dr Ishmael 17:37, 3 October 2013 (UTC)
Drops[edit]
I got the Nightmare Speargun (Rampager's) while doing Aetherpath yesterday. I knew the aetherized versions could drop there, but didn't know the normal ones did as well. Surprised me a bit. Still account bound on acquire though. Karuro 21:05, 5 May 2014 (UTC)
Feedback 2016/12/16[edit]
Might be better to Link the Weapon Skins from the Nightmare Fractal to a separate page, unlike now where they link to the Nightmare Weapons from Twilight Arbor. I would do it myself, but I have no experience in creating new pages and I don't really know how it works, also with the charts >.<". --Xenreas (talk) 08:58, 16 December 2016 (UTC)
- P.S.: The Weapon Skins I mean are the Nightmare Thornblade, the Nightmare Corsage, the Nightmare Nettleguard and the Nightmare Anelace. Could also make 1 for the Caustic Nightmare Weapons, which got the same name just with Caustic at the beginning and glow red instead of green. --Xenreas (talk) 09:05, 16 December 2016 (UTC)
