All these vines!
Could someone please explain the relationship between Mysterious Vine, Cultivated Vine, and Mawdrey? I can see all the stats, obviously, but I'm asking in terms of what makes what and what's needed for what. All these tables with arrows and crafting recipes make no sense in terms of putting it all into a bigger picture. Are both needed to make Mawdrey? Do you keep one and consume the other in the process? Is there some kind of chronological list of what needs to happen to get to each completed backpack? I have all the special items (recipe sheets, stones, pots, residues, etc.), but can't figure out what to do with them and in what order. These pages are just a jumble of recipes and prices thrown into a salad bowl... Thanks in advance. 22.214.171.124 10:18, 7 December 2014 (UTC)
- This is an upgrade-able back item. That means it has several stages of "evolution" that turns it into another item. Mysterious Vine is its first "stage". Once all of the components are added it will turn into a Cultivated Vine with a changed appearance. This item can be upgraded further by adding more components, turning into an ascended version of the previous item - Mawdrey. Once you've made Mawdrey, you'll also receive Mawdrey II, which exchanges Bloodstone Dust for items on a daily basis (there's a limit per day, though.) So the chronological list is
- Cultivated Vine
- Mysterious Vine
- Mawdrey & Mawdrey II
- Good luck with your crafting and feel free to ask if there's more things you're confused about; it's a pretty complicated process. --Ventriloquist 10:31, 7 December 2014 (UTC)
- P.S. You won't consume the backpieces as you progress. For each backpiece you'll receive an additional item (Cultivated Seed and Pet Seed) which you'll have to use to progress towards the next item. Cultivated Seed is required for the Cultivated Vine, and Pet Seed is required to craft Mawdrey. Titus The Third 10:58, 7 December 2014 (UTC)
