Death[edit]

So...spoiler, but isn't there a character that dies in the Gates of Maguuma story step Fallen Hopes named Morning? I believe them to be the same person, but I cannot access my game at the moment. I presume more needs to be done to this article in that case, so I'll leave it to folks who know what they're doing. Qubicneter (talk) 00:41, 3 July 2014 (UTC)

Yep, that's her. The wiki is still in the process of updating the content but don't worry, her death will not be forgotten. --Ventriloquist (talk) 00:52, 3 July 2014 (UTC)
That brings up a interesting topic. I do not think she should be marked as historical even though she is dead. As players playing the story can see her alive. Her death should be marked as spoiler though. Perhaps even her dialogue. Anzenketh (talk)
I actually disagree with marking any of the future LS NPCs as historical, since now with the story journal we can replay the story as many times as we like, and thus, tagging all of the NPCs and whatnots as historical seems silly, because they're practically present at all times. --Ventriloquist (talk) 21:50, 3 July 2014 (UTC)
I agree, it makes zero sense to treat Season 2+ NPCs as historical. There are only a few NPCs who have actually been permanently killed AND exist nowhere else in the game. Even Scarlet can be found in her Fractal. Which brings me to something I brought up in Talk:Aerin about spoilers. So far, spoilers have been applied to Personal Story events and NPCs as well as stuff that was written in the three GW2 novels. Living Story Season 1 was exempt from spoilers because it happened closer to real time and was not permanent, but Season 2 does not exist in this situation. Instead, it is more similar to the Personal Story. I think that with the ability to access past episodes through the gem store, LS Season 2 and everything related to it should be treated in the same way as the Personal Story is on the wiki. That essentially prevents any Season 2+ article from being Historical, and also allows for spoiler tags on Season 2+ articles. Qubicneter (talk) 00:22, 5 July 2014 (UTC)
