Icon[edit]

Why use the render as the skill icon ? It sure looks better than the black icon, but it makes no real sense, does it ? -Alarielle- 11:49, 24 May 2011 (UTC)

Presumably we don't have a skill icon yet. This is not a replacement but something we would add to the page anyway. --ஸ Kyoshi User Kyoshi sig2.png 12:32, 24 May 2011 (UTC)

Touch or Interaction?[edit]

I was just wondering, once a Bandage, Antidote, or Stimulant has been dropped, do players just need to step on them to receive the benefit, or do they need to press the Interaction (F) Key? If anyone knows I think it should be somewhere on the page. 99.48.205.36 13:08, 21 June 2012 (UTC)

Yep, you just just walk over them. If you are at full health you will not consume a Bandage if you walk on it, and similarly you will not use an Antidote if you have no conditions. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 13:19, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
They really need to revamp this tool kit, it is fairly useless in its current method of implementation. There is no "glow" or "indicator" for the dropped bundles, so they get completely lost in a sea of people. They are also completely useless when performing "Moving / Mobile Events" such as escort missions or various boss fights. Don't take this Kit if you are hoping to be a support healer with it at low levels, you won't be able to. - TokyoShoe / Signature & TimeDate Stamp not working.

Bug with kit[edit]

This kit has a bug where the utility slot never switches to the stow kit. Can anyone confirm? 192.168.104.79 17:47, 11 September 2012 (UTC)

Yes. Updated page to say so. --JohnnyCat 04:40, 21 September 2012 (UTC)

Triggers?[edit]

There's various runes that trigger on using healing skills. Do they all trigger on simply equipping the Med Kit? ex: Rune of the Centaur --JohnnyCat 13:19, 21 September 2012 (UTC)

Yes, changing to the Med Kit triggers on-heal effects. You can activate them at will, as often as their cooldown allows. The associated toolbelt healing skill does not trigger those effects. 24.93.191.41 20:14, 17 October 2012 (UTC)
Also stowing the kit ALSO activates on heal effects. 118.209.185.235 00:02, 21 February 2013 (UTC)

Karma Vendor[edit]

i really wish i was paying attention. there's a karma vendor (for completing a heart) that gives this Med Kit as a bundle, for the life of me i cannot remember who or where --Universe 21:11, 11 November 2012 (UTC)

Removed Bug[edit]

Removed the "Activating the kit does not stow it" bug as it no longer applies, Added notes on healing triggers. Kaaboose 00:27, 21 February 2013 (UTC)

trait-trigger on kit swap[edit]

Reconstruction Enclosure also seem to trigger now only on the F1 skill, not on swapping.

The Medical Dispersion Field should also be a related trait, since it increases the outgoing heal of F1 and 4. As far as I noticed, MDF seems to heal the full amount, even when you are at full life. Using MDF will thus turns clerical F1 with 7k self-heal to 3.5k group heal and increases Vital Burst by 50%.

As a note I would like to mention, that Med Kit can buff your outgoing heal together with monk-rune, transference-sigil and riceballs to +50% outgoing heal using Health insurance.
