Talk:Lake Doric

I just got world completion; my last map was Dredgehaunt Cliffs. As soon as I found the last point of interest in Dredgehaunt, I got Lake Doric Map Completion, Dredgehaunt Cliffs Map Completion, and then World Map Completion. No idea why finishing Dredgehaunt would give me Lake Doric. - Brian Kendig (talk) 03:26, 21 February 2016 (UTC)

It's an old old bug that they never really fixed. Not sure if it's unique to Dredgehaunt, but Lake Doric was to be a zone north of Divinity's Reach/west of Harathi Hinterlands which got scrapped mid-development. Konig 06:18, 21 February 2016 (UTC)

Lake Doric image

The current image shows the EAST of DR, not the north. I understand that the area would have stretched around DR to cover some, if not all, of the eastern area of DR, but the current image seems misleading. Was the image intentionally chosen to be this? The current image shows the lake itself, since it is not a zone in the game. In the unexplored covering of the map, there is no lake portion to the north (though there was in the scrapped zone). The scrapped zone stretched around DR on east, north, and somewhat to the west sides of DR. The image is also from before we knew that Lake Doric was to be a zone in the game that got scrapped, and before we had any inkling of the zone's shape or area. Konig 17:06, 10 March 2016 (UTC)

Edit: It might be worthwhile to add an image of the scrapped zone as put together by that_shaman, however this should not be the infobox image if this is done (or at least not the main infobox image). Konig 17:07, 10 March 2016 (UTC)

Me too. World Completion on Cursed Shore March 23, 2016 and got Map Completion for Lake Doric at the same time. I'd not seen the bug before this. This is my 12th world completion. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 50.49.149.20 (talk • contribs).

No buyable XP/Karma boost?

Lake Doric isn't tagged with spoiler/season 3, so I guess it's different - but after Bloodstone Fen, Ember Bay and Bitterfrost Frontier I was expecting one and looked on the wiki to see where to get it. IMO that'd be worth mentioning as trivia?--Cyberman 01:49, 24 March 2018 (UTC)
