So, how do you catch his kegs when he hurls them to you? Sjeng 09:25, 27 September 2012 (UTC)
- A very good question. I want to know, too. --Musha 20:18, 28 September 2012 (UTC)
- I tried it for a half hour and never caught a single one even when it hit me right in the head, so I don't know. I ended up just running in the wurm cave and stealing kegs and taking them directly to the other NPC instead, was easier that way. 71.68.238.112:54956 04:56, 30 October 2012 (UTC)
- Me too, I can't find any other information on catching/intercepting kegs or the proper commands for them. When you wave to Hodir he throws you a keg, and you have a keg symbol above your head, similar to how if you're using an item anywhere else in the world like a cannon, it will show a cog picture above your head. I thought there might have been some info on it elsewhere on the guildwars2.com site but so far I've come up empty. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 120.29.33.30 (talk).
- Press the F (interaction) key when you're close to where the keg's going to land, probably best to rapid key it, you'll dive to the ground and catch it and be able to turn it in. Seryu 04:02, 24 January 2013 (UTC)
- This issue is now fixed in the recent game updates, which makes it more possible to catch the kegs. Geekfox 06:17, 1 May 2013 (UTC)
- Nope, still can't catch the kegs. This is one broken mechanic. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.89.158.27 (talk • contribs) at 19:52, 11 August 2013 (UTC).

- I take that back; it does work. Keep spamming 'f' and the keg will be caught.
- Totally doesn't work.
- At the moment this does not work, but I have definitely caught them before, however that was soon after launch, and I'm only now trying again nearly 3 years later. *edit* after quite a number of tries, I can confirm that you can still catch kegs successfully. It's just rather disjointed and not easy to do. (Give the kegs back to the thrower) Puk (talk) 11:55, 30 June 2015 (UTC)

- Looks like they changed the throw to use the jump mechanic, similar to how players are hit mid-jump with one of the attacks of the Molten Berserker. If the projectile hits a player at any frame of a jump, they will catch the barrel. Mith🌟Talk 19:18, 10 August 2017 (UTC)
I am having troubles with waking the passed-out warriors, nothing happens when I spill a water bucket. I have tried different warriors, different buckets, standing near them, on them, upwind, nothing works.
I was able catch ever barrel tossed just by standing IN FRONT of the marked landing zone. Every time I stood ON TOP of the landing zone, I didn't catch.
