Feedback 2017/08/25[edit]

The dates for the shared inventory slot sales is wrong.

This website states August 23 - August 26 but it has already gone out of sales. The price is also wrongly reflected in the entire wiki.

Rather sad actually because I thought I had more time to buy it. The preceding unsigned comment was added by 93.186.14.138 (talk) at 21:33, 25 August 2017‎ (UTC).

Thanks for pointing that out, and sorry for the confusion. My guess is that the person who handled those dates probably was dealing with the joys of time-zones :(. As for the shared inventory slot, talk to Support. Show them this link which you were looking at, and which led you astray: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/index.php?title=Gem_Store%2FAnniversary_Sales&type=revision&diff=1499905&oldid=1499603. Perhaps tacking on 10am PST to the dates would be more helpful to people? The preceding unsigned comment was added by 73.118.32.7 (talk) at 23:42, 25 August 2017‎ (UTC).

Feedback 2018/08/25[edit]

In the header you should put at what time the sales activates. example all sales activates at 10am PST. --73.197.42.134 13:59, 25 August 2018 (UTC)

I added a note of sorts. It only really makes sense while the sales are ongoing, so I'll remove it after they're over (which I suspect might be very soon...).
(We have Template:UTC time for dealing with timezones, but I couldn't think of a nice way to work it into the sentence in a way that doesn't end up being wrong when crossing a date boundary, so I just went with server time/UTC+0.) -- Dagger (talk) 04:56, 26 August 2018 (UTC)
Added it for you, it works good that way. ❄The F. Prince❄ (talk) 10:48, 26 August 2018 (UTC)
Except for people in UTC+8 or higher, where it now claims the sales start a day earlier than they actually do. -- Dagger (talk) 13:50, 26 August 2018 (UTC)

Feedback 2018/08/27[edit]

I'm pretty sure the discount for Living World Season 2 Complete Pack has ended. On my alt, I current see a price of 640 gems, which is half of the 1280 price listed on Wiki. According to the Gem Store, the price is 1600, and it's 60% off, but I think that's because I unlocked 4 episodes for free and there is a discount for buying in bundle as opposed to the 200 gems per episode. That's correct, the item is no longer on sale. I don't recall the day its sale has ended tho, therefore can't update the page. ❄The F. Prince❄ (talk) 10:01, 28 August 2018 (UTC)

2019 sales[edit]

It's a real mess, it's surely better to put each item per row with its associated duration, here exo suit and dynamic exo suit appearance package are put in the same case whereas one end the 8 august, the other the 12. Added more meaningful example under it. --Inquest Overseer Ezrielia (talk) 16:28, 6 August 2019 (UTC) EDIT: Corrected

Hold up, the dates stated on Twitter do not match the in-game dates. E.g. Crystal Arbiter Appearance Pack leaves the store tomorrow, not today. User Incarnazeus Signature.pngtalk 16:48, 6 August 2019 (UTC)

2021 Anniversary sales[edit]

Unclear whether or not it is single day sales or a few days per item (https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/lead-the-charge-with-the-infernal-roar-warhorn-skin/). As such I have added the items as single day sales, feel free to correct. Venom20 User Venom20-icon-0602-sm-black.png 21:24, 10 August 2021 (UTC)

2022 Anniversary sale[edit]

So far, the only information in the 2022 "sale" is two items that were giveaways. Discounting something 100% isn't a sale, it's just a freebie. It's now 8/27/2022...way later than any of the previous anniversary sales started. Maybe that section needs adjusted.
