It appears that using this object will teleport you to different locations in Mount Maelstrom, e.g. I used it twice and once it dumped me at the exit CoE area golem, and the second time it dumped me in the northeast of Treacherous Vents. -Chieftain Alex 13:33, 8 April 2017 (UTC)

Trivia?

It's a long shot (and I do mean a long shot), but two Keno Decca sites are reminiscent of a pair of locations in Thief II: The Metal Age. One of them is a buried city that had been devastated by lava, the other one an underground base built near the sea. The aforementioned city was named Karath-Din, and it was referred to be the Mechanists (the technologically advanced sect that served as the game's antagonists) as the K.D. Site.
