Acquisition - Only on Warriors?

I killed a TON of tigers on my Daredevil and I couldn't get it to drop. I got this by killing tigers on my Berserker. It took like 15 minutes, which is WAY less time than what I spent on my DD. I'm thinking that it only drops on Warriors/Berserkers. Did anyone else experience this? --Imry (talk) 03:44, 25 August 2017 (UTC)

If I recall correctly, I completed this collection without even having a warrior on my account. (Deleted them as soon as I unlocked it, which was the only reason I'd created them in the first place... :B) So it's definitely possible to get it as a drop without a warrior. I think you were just unlucky on your daredevil; these items can have frustrating drop rates. --Idris (talk) 03:48, 25 August 2017 (UTC)

I actually experienced this as well. 3 hours farming them on my ranger. 5 minutes once I swapped to my warrior. I wanted to kill something, and it wasn't more tigers. It could have something to do with diminishing returns and not class though.--Rain Spell (talk) 04:34, 25 August 2017 (UTC)

Well I tried for over an hour to get it on Verdant Brink at the Wyvern Cliffs without success, now I went to Draconis Mons and literally after the third tiger I've gotten it. If you didn't know it already, it only drops from Veteran Tigers. --DeltaxHunter (talk) 16:13, 14 January 2018 (UTC)

Just got it from a regular Tiger in Draconis Mons on my Revenant. Took me about 20-25 minutes total, including trying Verdant Brink first. Hope that helps clear things up. --Wookins (talk) 07:00, 11 March 2021 (UTC)

Yes, I killed all of them on my warrior BUT it doesn't matter which class you're using, since I got the Saurian Roar (which is the equivalent of the Flawless Tiger Claw for the elementalist) on my warrior as well.

Just killed with a mesmer, but took over an hour with 250 ish MF. Initially tried in Dragon's stand, moved to Verdant Brink for at least an hour. Seems I was just unlucky, completed both random drops on the Mesmer for the HoT guardian bow special collection in 10 minutes each or less. Non-mouse (talk) 02:01, 16 April 2024 (UTC)
