I opened 2 Veteran Fire Elemental Loot Boxes (earned from the WvW triumphant reward track), the second of which had dropped an Element of Fire. I've updated this wiki page as well as the Veteran Fire Elemental Loot Box page, it's my first time doing any wiki edit's so I hope I did it well. Not too surprising since the loot boxes are, as the name implies, meant to replicate the loot tables for the named NPCs. It's more or less a given that anything dropping from a Veteran Ember will drop from the Veteran Fire Elemental Loot Box and vice versa and same goes for other loot boxes. RNG is RNG, but I killed 25+ embers in Fireheart Rise and didn't get, but got on my first lava elemental. Someone comment here if you can confirm the Ember acquisition - could just be my drop rate but none of the other mobs took that many kills. 69.24.173.82 21:34, 1 February 2018 (UTC)

I can confirm an Ember kill. Those in southern Fireheart Rise weren't dropping them. The first one in the cave right outside Rata Sum dropped one for me. PJ (talk) 19:40, 17 May 2018 (UTC)

Also, the Earth Elementals in Mount Maelstrom near Magmatic Waypoint were not dropping the Element of Earth. I went to Old Duke's Estate in Plains of Ashford, and it dropped on the first kill. Perhaps it's a level thing, or elementals not tied to a certain chain of events. It seems starter areas quickly give the drops. PJ (talk) 19:57, 18 May 2018 (UTC)
