Different Guides[edit]

These guides tell different things depending on the area they are in. Ex. One by main entrance tells you about districts and mini game sites and offers to mark them on your world map. Wonder how we can seperate because putting them all here will make a mega page. Maybe 'Divinity Guide (<area>)'?

Divinity Guide (Tour), these guys are different and do the walking tour. So far I have put their dialoge in the 'area' page that they tour. I got them for Rurikton and Ossan so far. Kenrid 03:24, 19 May 2012 (UTC)

There's 2 kinds of guides - the first is the one this documents, but the dialogue is also shared with a Seraph Guard generic NPC in Skull Plaza as well as a Shining Blade generic NPC in the Upper City. The second kind of guide there are at least 5 of (Ossan Quarter, Rurikton, The Upper City, Western Commons, and Salma District) - which are tour guides rather than direction guides.
In game, the names are Divinity Guide [Directions] and Divinity Guide [Tour]. I don't think there's an outright need to split them, as long dialogue isn't much of an issue imo. Konig/talk 05:53, 19 May 2012 (UTC)
Ya, I got the 2 different type, Directions and Tour. Tour makes sense to put on the page of area they are touring. Directions guys may vary, there is one just a few meters away from one I recorded. Have to check if offers different. But what is the guy on this page? He looks like a Directions guy to me. The one I did screenshots of is near Queensdale entrance, he talks about about districts, the POIs in the Commons. And then offers to mark locations on map. Just like guy here. But guy here(this page) is concentrating on Upper City people and marking areas around Upper City. Here is the guy I am talking about. [[:File:Divinity guide directions temp.jpg|Divinity Guide-Directions]] His dialoge chain is at least as long as the one on this page. Kenrid 06:45, 19 May 2012 (UTC)
"Tour makes sense to put on the page of area they are touring." Disagree. It's a single NPC who says the lines and doing so has to be triggered by a player, not the area or an untriggered conversation between multiple NPCs. Konig/talk 09:23, 19 May 2012 (UTC)
