Region Listing[edit]

Although gathering nodes and viewing vistas in Thunderhead Peaks mechanically count as Shiverpeak Mountains dailies, I wonder if that means that this region is part of the Shiverpeaks after the cataclysmic changes to Southern Shiverpeaks between GW1 and GW2 (similar to how Elona and Sulfurous Wastes are mechanically listed under the Crystal Desert, or the API's Steamspur Mountains maps are listed under Maguuma Jungle), or if it's a special case like the Ring of Fire (whose dailies count for Heart of Maguuma but list Ember Bay as "Jungle" and Draconis Mons as "Ring of Fire" in the API which is why those two maps are listed under Ring of Fire rather than the Heart of Maguuma), in which case the region would be listed as Deldrimor Front when using it to indicate the locations of maps under it. If it weren't for the Ring of Fire exception, it would be easier to figure out, so I'm curious if the Shiverpeaks is the logical way to go or if there's any justification for a different type of listing for Deldrimor Front maps. Thoughts? --Kossage (talk) 05:35, 1 February 2019 (UTC)

Regarding the Ring of Fire maps: the region was created for Ember Bay, as confirmed by devs, and Draconis Mons is 100% part of Ring of Fire region (dailies there shouldn't count to Heart of Maguuma dailies), Ember Bay for some reason got changed to Heart of Maguuma region at some point and was never fixed (like that damn sun lens flare effect bugging out to be one big ass circle on the screen rather than a proper sun lens flare effect). Ember Bay counting as a Heart of Maguuma is, technically, a bug.
As for this region, it seems to be set up the same as Steamspur Mountains, Kourna, Vabbi, Sulfurous Wastes, Istan, and Dajkha is: mechanic region != lore region, effectively. Konig (talk) 07:20, 1 February 2019 (UTC)
