Brandstone

I think some of this info (how to mine, etc) would normally be placed under Brandstone, but the closest example I can think of for something like this is the Ancient Asuran Power Source. The information is duplicated on both pages, but it's rather convenient in doing so. Daily mining limits

I believe I recall reading about mining limits per day of Ore or Quartz or something. Does anyone know what they are and if we can get them added to this page? Kulgin (talk) 20:16, 4 January 2018 (UTC)

perhaps it really does have a limit, maybe a bug, but after a day of farming for a new legend at some point, using the first skill near a meteorite writes "there are no buried stones here." Approximate amount of ore mined per day before the inscription from meteorites is about 1000-1500 ore

I also add that there is an opportunity to get two characters. having previously turned off one near the intended fall site (for me this is the great hall since it takes the longest to get there)

Unfortunately, there is no way to test the interaction with a large meteorite. need to go to sleep. I did not find information about the limit anywhere

What exactly is the daily cap for mining meteors?

Is the cap on the number of meteors mined, the number of Kralkatite Ore obtained from these meteors, the number of Rose Quartz or its Powdered version from these meteors, or something else? --180.129.52.241 23:56, 6 June 2019 (UTC)

Help!

I can't get this to work, what's going on? I stand at the meteor and press 2 and channel 3 for a while, nothing happens. Also, am I supposed to do this ~8000 times for the legendary achievement? It seems a rather difficult one to attain. Svarty (talk) 01:01, 12 January 2022 (UTC)

For a buried meteor (the most common): First see if there are 5 marker segments on the impact site marker. If not, use skill 5 to add another (more marks = better mining results). Zoom back a bit so you can see 20 yards around the buried meteor and follow the 'Mining Buried Brandstones' section on the Brandstone Multitool page. Summarized here: Skill 1 to show a green marker near you pointing the direction to the chunk to mine, walk a short distance and use skill 1 again. The arrow will reappear and once you get close to the fragtment it will be marked by a pillar of light. Once you get next to where the pillar was, repeat skill 1 to find the exact location then use skill 2 to bring the chunk to the surface. Repeatedly use skill 3 to mine it until the chunk is gone. I just got 10 Kralkite or and 10 powdered rose quartz from a 2-marker Brandstone meteor crater.

Alternate sources: You can get 25 Kralkite ore from each of the three heart vendors each day. Rose quartz can be purchased on the trading post. Separ (talk) 02:08, 13 January 2022 (UTC)
