Only 3[edit]

Why only 3 per day? That seems odd.. -User Mikkelet Eme.jpgikkelet 11:04, 25 February 2015 (UTC)

Probably to prevent the value of Passion Flowers from crashing. --Idris (talk) 11:11, 25 February 2015 (UTC)
Yeah, means for controlling supply, thereby ensuring prices have inflationary pressure. --Wolfie User Wolfie sig.jpg (talk|contribs) 12:26, 25 February 2015 (UTC)
But couldn't they just make the flower rarer? I think it's weird to limit supply but actually limiting how much you can harvest.. -User Mikkelet Eme.jpgikkelet 00:19, 27 February 2015 (UTC)
Could, but guess Anet went this option. Thinking with this method, by having higher quantity of plants about the place (could be hundreds, thousands, wouldn't matter), increases the chances of a player at least finding a gather node, while still guaranteeing the number of flowers they can pick, thus controlling the supply. --Wolfie User Wolfie sig.jpg (talk|contribs) 07:07, 27 February 2015 (UTC)
Normal Passiflora nodes have a chance to drop one. The blooming ones are there to ease RNG frustration, giving players at least 3 daily flowers. MithUser MithranArkanere Star.pngTalk 14:23, 27 February 2015 (UTC)

If an account has already gathered 3 nodes from Southsun Cove, will any still appear in Ember Bay?[edit]

Also, how many nodes are there in Ember Bay? --175.142.95.178 22:13, 8 April 2019 (UTC)

I just tested - I gathered three from SC, and then I couldn't find any in EB. It looks like it's a cap of three total, across all maps.
Also, there's only one on EB. --Imry 19:35, 8 May 2019 (UTC)
